My wife is from Indiana, near Chicago. So Chicago-style deep dish pizza is something we’re not exactly strangers to. Not a single trip to visit the family goes by without a trip to Beggar’s for a deep dish.

But it SUCKS only getting to sink your teeth into one a couple of times a year, y’know?

Chicken And Veggie Stir Fry

I’ve always enjoyed a good stir fry. Chicken or beef normally .. but chicken generally wins.

But I have a confession – I normally cheat and just add a bottle of stir-fry sauce or teriyaki sauce from the store. But with a really short list of ingredients, I don’t have to do it anymore.

It literally takes a minute to toss together a tasty stir-fry sauce from scratch.

I did my first cook with the Anova Nano (not an affiliate link), and I’m hooked already.

I watched this video on the Sous Vide Everything channel (which I highly recommend) and decided I needed to try this when I finally got an Anova of my own. I went with the cottage cheese version, since I can’t find any of those fancy/Brazilian cheeses here in the boonies. Also, I like cottage cheese.

I’ve always been a fan of beef stroganoff, but never a huge fan of making it. We used to do the whole thing where you cut up your beef, dredge it all in flour, sear it, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah. It was good, but a bit of a time consuming pain in the butt to put together.
